I am sure that many of you were aware my Dad had been fighting cancer for the last 4-years. On Sunday, 3/30/14, he found peace and ended his fight with cancer. He never stopped fighting and continued to amaze us with his strength even in his final moments. He was an amazing man and an even more amazing father. My dad was a true American patriot and he loved his country. He served in the army during the Vietnam war where he earned a CIB for serving in active combat. Because of his service to our country he was buried at the DFW national veteran's cemetery. I have included a link below to a clip from his internment. This was a fitting honor bestowed upon an equally honorable man.
